Vietnam axed from calendar, Interlagos stays

The Vietnamese Grand Prix has been dropped from Formula 1's 2021 calendar while the Brazilian Grand Prix will stay at Interlagos for another year. Vietnam was due to host its first grand prix on the streets of its capital Hanoi in April but it was cancelled following the coronavirus outbreak. It had been widely expected that the race would form part of next season's schedule. But it is being widely reported that the event has now been scrapped following Hanoi People's Committee chairman Nguyen Duc Chung's arrest earlier this year.
