Albon: Just put gravel and we'll be fine
Formula 1 should introduce more gravel traps if it wants to solve its track limits problem, says Red Bull's Alexander Albon. A regular issue that has been particularly prominent at the last two Formula 1 grands prix, drivers have seen dozens of lap times deleted due to exceeding track limits at Portimao and Imola. Albon, who had eight laps deleted across practice and qualifying on Saturday – including one in Q3 – has argued F1 should simply use the traditional deterrent rather than rely on definitions of track limits that drivers can struggle with at high speed. “Honestly, I don’t know why we’re changing different corners and different track limits,” he said after...
