FIA confirms new rules on superlicense
The FIA announces that drivers no longer need to achieve 40 points to qualify for a super-licence. From now on, drivers will only need 30 points, a change that was triggered by the coronavirus. Quarter fewer points needed The changes were confirmed in the latest update of the International Sporting Code of the FIA, reports Motorsport.com. Drivers can now obtain a super license when they have scored 30 points in the relevant championships. A driver can score 30 points by finishing in the top four of the Formula 2 championship or by winning the Formula 3 championship. When a driver applies for a super licence, this application must be approved by the FIA World Motor Sport Council. Read more...
