Search for Carey's replacement was ‘very broad'

Chase Carey says that, while Stefano Domenicali was the only man offered the job, the search for his replacement was 'very broad.' It was confirmed in late September that Domenicali will replace Carey as President and CEO of Formula 1 at the end of the 2020 season. After the announcement, Carey stated that the former Ferrari boss was someone who 'jumped out right away' as a strong candidate. That being said, he apparently wasn't the only option looked at.
