Ferrari warn two-day weekends could lead to more grands prix

Ferrari team principal Mattia Binotto has suggested to a potential increase in the number of grands prix per season should Formula 1 decide to implement two-day weekends in the future. In light of what unfolded recently across the Eifel Grand Prix weekend when there was only running on Saturday and Sunday after Friday practice was cancelled, and with the forthcoming Emilia Romagna GP at Imola over two days, talk has surfaced as to whether F1 should drop Fridays permanently.
