Hulkenberg's Silverstone cameo helped drive Racing Point progress – Green
Racing Point’s technical chief Andy Green says Nico Hulkenberg’s Silverstone cameo assisted the development path that has propelled the team into contention for third in 2020. Hulkenberg re-joined his former team for the back-to-back events in Britain in August after regular racer Sergio Perez returned a positive Covid-19 test. Racing Point introduced a heavily revised RP20 across recent rounds that includes a new front wing, front brake ducts, floor, rear wing endplates, along with revised sidepods and other bodywork revisions. Hulkenberg returned to the squad last-minute at the Nürburgring as a replacement for the unwell Lance Stroll, giving him an opportunity to sample the revised...
