Persistent grim conditions cause more Eifel GP disruption

Formula 1’s preparations for the Eifel Grand Prix are set for further disruption due to the persistent unsettled weather conditions affecting the region on Friday. Rain has fallen throughout the day in western Germany while low-lying cloud has also resulted in misty conditions at the Nürburgring. As a consequence the medical helicopter has been unable to fly. The designated facility for this weekend’s event is in Bonn, 70km away, and cannot be reached by road within the stipulated time limit.
