Departing Perez unhappy over Racing Point ‘hiding things'

Sergio Perez has questioned why some Racing Point team members have begun to “hide things” from him following the announcement of his departure from the Formula 1 outfit after 2020. The Silverstone-based squad, which will rebrand to Aston Martin in 2021, announced earlier this month that it has opted to part ways with Perez and sign a multi-year deal with four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel. Perez has not yet committed his future to F1, but confirmed on Thursday at Sochi that he has held discussions with some teams. With eight races remaining in the 2020 season Racing Point is locked in a battle for third in the Constructors' Championship and is only 14 points behind McLaren....
