Perez anticipates clarity on 2021 F1 options next week

Sergio Perez says he expects to have a stronger idea on what his options for 2021 are next week, asserting that his desire to stay in Formula 1 remains “very strong”. It was confirmed earlier this month that Perez will be leaving Racing Point at the end of 2020 after the team opted to sign Sebastian Vettel on a multi-year deal for when it will rebrand to Aston Martin. Perez has been linked with moves to Haas and Alfa Romeo, who are yet to announce their drivers for the 2021 season. Perez has been in discussion with other teams and is optimistic that he will have a clearer picture in the coming days. “There has been, obviously, contact with a couple of teams and talks,” Perez said....
