Szafnauer offers up some kind words as Perez confirms departure

Sergio Perez announced his departure from Racing Point on Wednesday, which will see the Mexican leave the team at the end of the season, likely to make room for Sebastian Vettel, which could be confirmed as early as this weekend. Perez has raced for Racing Point (previously Force India) since 2014, scoring five podiums in that time and he even played a key role in rescuing the team from certain bankruptcy. But his time will come to an end in just a few months and it's uncertain as to whether he will remain on the grid, after admitting he has 'no plan B', but hopes to deliver some good news soon.
