McLaren: Racing Point's car still better than ours

McLaren boss Andreas Seidl believes Racing Point still has greater potential to extract from its RP20, despite his squad moving clear in the scrap for third in the championship. McLaren and Racing Point both scored a podium in Italy, courtesy of Carlos Sainz and Lance Stroll respectively, but the Woking-based team had Lando Norris fourth, while Sergio Perez was only 10th. As a consequence McLaren strengthened its grip on third in the Constructors’ fight, 16 points ahead of Racing Point, with Renault 11 further back, and Ferrari 10 adrift of the French marque.
