Red Bull close to Mercedes in warm conditions. But why?

Many Formula 1 fans were disappointed with the second place of Max Verstappen in Spain last weekend. Verstappen finished more than twenty seconds behind winner Lewis Hamilton, while many people thought that Verstappen had a chance in the warm conditions.
