Nissany to get first FP1 run at Spanish GP

Williams test driver Roy Nissany will get his first run in the team’s FW43 during opening practice for this weekend’s Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix. Nissany joined Williams as a test driver back in January and his programme includes track time at three grands prix this year. The 25-year-old previously got behind the wheel of Formula 1 machinery when he had an outing in its FW42 at last season’s post-race test in Abu Dhabi. Nissany will replace George Russell in the opening practice session at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
