Racing Point: We don't think there's a case to answer

Allegations Racing Point have illegally copied the brake duct design of last year's Mercedes have no legal basis, says technical director Andrew Green. A controversy since preseason testing, Racing Point's 2020 challenger, the RP20 has been criticised by many for being an almost exact copy of Mercedes' 2019 car, the W10. Subsequently, Racing Point's rivals Renault have protested the brake duct design at each of the past two races, as that particular component is a 'listed part' which is required to be wholly produced in-house.
