Stroll quickest at Silverstone as Albon shunts heavily
Much of the focus has been on the returning face across the Racing Point garage but on Friday afternoon Lance Stroll was quickest in second practice for the British Grand Prix. At a sweltering Silverstone, where air temperature reached 36ºC, Racing Point’s Stroll clocked a time of 1:27.274s to finish the 90-minute session atop the classification. In a highly competitive session Stroll’s advantage at the front stood at just 0.090s while all bar rookie Nicholas Latifi were within 1.7s of the pacesetter. It continues Racing Point’s fine start to the 2020 campaign at a venue which is located across the road from its factory. Related Posts From free agent to Formula 1 racer in 20...
