FIA to clamp down on track limits at Silverstone
British Grand Prix – Track limits will be strongly enforced at Silverstone over the next two weekends, with a few corners in particular singled out. The FIA will be strictly enforcing track limits at several corners at Silverstone, as this season's campaign to tighten up on the abuse of track limits continues. FIA race director Michael Masi has confirmed the areas at Silverstone that will be closely monitored, after doing similar for the Austrian and Hungarian races that started the season. In his pre-event notes, Masi singled out Turns 9 and 15 – Copse and Stowe – as critical areas where drivers will have their lap times deleted if they venture behind the black and white...
