Monza confirms: No spectators this year during Grand Prix

For many drivers, the Monza stage is the most beautiful of the year. That's because the stage is partly over the circuit and the track is filled with passionate fans during the podium ceremony. This year this will not happen because no spectators will be welcome at the Grand Prix. The organizers have indicated that there will be no spectators during the Grand Prix early September because of COVID-19. Italy has been severely affected by the pandemic and does not want to take any risks. At Autosport a statement states that the race will be held behind closed doors.
