Ricciardo: The car has taken a step forward
Renault driver Daniel Ricciardo believes that the R.S.20 is a step forward from its predecessor that he drove during the 2019 Formula 1 season. The Enstone outfit endured a difficult 2019 , finishing fifth in the constructor's championship and behind their customer team McLaren. As a result of their struggles Ricciardo decided to join McLaren from the start of the 2021 season, but the Australian insists that his current team have made progress since last year. 'There have certainly been positives,' he said, before giving an example from last Sunday's Styrian Grand Prix.
