Williams attracting ‘really strong' interest

Various parties are showing ‘really strong' interest in investing in Williams, team principal Claire Williams has said. The British team has endured a difficult few years. On track, they have firmly become the backmarkers of the grid, while off-track, their financial situation has progressively become worse and worse. These struggles only increased during the racing hiatus, and, in the midst of it, they announced that they were taking various refinancing measures and were looking to sell stakes in the team going forward.
