Giovinazzi optimistic about his Ferrari chances
Antonio Giovinazzi wasn't chosen to replace Sebastian Vettel, but he thinks there could be an opportunity for him at Ferrari in the future. Being a member of the Ferrari Driver Academy, the Italian was seen as a contender to replace the outgoing German for the 2021 season. However, the team instead opted for Carlos Sainz. Giovinazzi says that he partly missed out due to his lack of experience, but also because his results in 2019 weren't good enough. “It was maybe not the right time, just after 23 Grands Prix,” he told Sky Sports. “Of course, if the Ferrari call came this year, I would have gone straight away – but in my career, I always had some sliding doors. “I only had one...
