Zanardi condition 'remains serious' after a 'stable' night
The Siena University Hospital has released an update on the condition of Alex Zanardi - the former Formula 1 driver remaining in intensive care following a road accident on Friday. Zanardi had been competing in a handcycling event on Friday, when he was involved in an accident with a 'heavy vehicle'. Article continues under video The 53-year-old Italian was airlifted to hospital where, upon arrival, he underwent a two-and-a-half hour surgery.
