W Series confirms the cancellation of its 2021 schedule

Owing to the global COVID-19 pandemic, W Series has announced that it has called off its race activities for 2020, confirming that the series would return to action in 2021. The single seater championship for female drivers was established last year. The inaugural season saw Williams development driver Jamie Chadwick secure the title after a thrilling year that feautred her battles with Beitske Visser and Alice Powell. The second season was originally scheduled to get underway on Russia’s Igora Driver track on May 30.
