F1 releases initial European calendar
The 2019 Austrian Grand Prix weekend Formula 1 has released an initial, eight-round calendar for the European events with which it will start its 2020 season. Austria’s Red Bull Ring hosts the first two grands prix, as expected, on the first and second weekends of July, before the Hungarian Grand Prix just a week later. After a weekend off, another block of racing on three consecutive weekends follows, namely two rounds at Great Britain’s Silverstone and the next at Spain’s Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
