Claire Williams: Sale of F1 team should be viewed as positive
The potential sale of the Williams Formula 1 team should only be viewed as a positive move, according to deputy team principal Claire Williams. The Grove-based outfit announced last week that it is considering a partial or even full sale of its F1 team as part of a new strategic review of its operations aimed at securing its future. Williams revealed it was already in discussions with potential investors after confirming it had terminated its title sponsorship with ROKiT with immediate effect, despite agreeing an extension last year.
