Alonso enters the world of virtual racing

Fernando Alonso was the latest driver to make his virtual racing debut as part of The Race All-Star Legends Trophy. The Spaniard was taking part in the latest round of the series which consisted of two races at Circuit Zandvoort in the Netherlands, home of Formula 1's Dutch Grand Prix. While he showed impressive pace to qualify P4, the races were far from ideal for Alonso. In the first race he would get caught up in several incidents, resulting in a DNF, while in the second a spectacular airborne crash after colliding with fellow ex-F1 driver Tiago Monteiro made it a double-DNF for Alonso.
