Mercedes boss Wolff unable to ignore "asset" Vettel

Mercedes motorsport boss Toto Wolff has refused to rule his Formula 1 team out of the running to sign Sebastian Vettel. Vettel is to leave Ferrari at the end of the year, ending what will be a six-year association with the Scuderia. Article continues under video The 32-year-old has stated he "will take the time I need to reflect on what really matters when it comes to my future". There appear to be numerous options open to the four-time champion, with Mercedes a possibility as both Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas are out of contract at the end of the season.
