The new $145 million budget cap has finally been announced, after mainly Ferrari and Red Bull Racing turned out to be against the deal. Within Ferrari, however, there was a dichotomy. Where Mattia Binotto didn't want a cut, the CEO now whistles him back. Binotto on the fingers The new $145 million budget cap should ensure that Formula 1 will have a fairer playing field for all participants. Ferrari has been in the sport since time immemorial and performs mainly every year due to the immense amounts of money the team invests.
