Russell: 'Even Verstappen and Leclerc wouldn't turn down Mercedes switch'

George Russell, despite Williams' poor performance, is still grateful for the opportunity they gave him to drive in Formula 1. In an interview the Formula 1 driver also states that Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc would never refuse a contract offer from Mercedes. "My aspirations are clear: I want to be world champion," Russell told the Evening Standard. The young Briton is getting ready for his second season in Formula 1, again with the Williams team.
