Top teams' ‘selfish' attitude risks F1 collapse

2016 World Champion, Nico Rosberg, has said that the selfishness of top teams could risk seeing Formula 1 collapse. While Formula 1 bosses continue to explore options of how to get the 2020 season started later in the year, there is also an ongoing discussion with regards to the imminent budget cap. There is an agreement between teams to reduce it to $150m in order to bring further protection to finances, but some still want to see further reductions, possibly all the way down to $100m. McLaren boss Zak Brown recently hinted it was Ferrari and Red Bull who are the top teams refusing to play ball and Rosberg thinks that mentality is a very risky one to have.
