Bottas expects DAS to be available in Melbourne

Valtteri Bottas says he sees 'no reason why not to' use Mercedes' dual-axis steering system at the season-opening Australian Grand Prix. The Silver Arrows caused quite the commotion on day two of pre-season testing when they were spotted using the device which gives Lewis Hamilton and Bottas the ability to push and pull their steering wheel to control whether the tyres on the W11 are toed in or out as they navigate through straights and corners. It seemed as testing went on though that the device was used less frequently, but Bottas is happy with the data collected on it and also the feel he got for using the device.
