GPBlog's Top 50 drivers in 50 days - #23 - Ronnie Peterson
Hello and welcome back to GPBlog’s countdown to the start of the 2020 F1 season and the opening race in Australia. The first week of testing is done and Mercedes are looking good, but now it’s time to continue our countdown of our top 50 F1 drivers of all time. Yesterday we looked at the Colombian Juan Pablo Montoya, but today is about 1970s superstar Ronnie Peterson. After success in junior formulae, Peterson first entered F1 in 1970 with privateer teams running March cars and the machinery was uncompetitive, limiting what the Swede could do.
