Roy Nissany announced as Williams test driver
Williams have announced that Israeli driver Roy Nissany will take part in some Grand Prix weekends in 2020, in his new role as Test Driver. 25 year old Israeli driver Roy Nissany has been announced as a Test Driver for Williams, having been signed to Williams Driver Academy alongside Jamie Chadwick and Dan Ticktum. Nissany, son of one time Minardi practice driver Chanoch Nissany, took part in the 2019 post-season Pirelli tyre test at Yas Marina in Abu Dhabi. Nissany will take part in three FP1 sessions over the course of 2020, as well as driving one of the mandatory rookie test days over the season.
