Grosjean: New Pirelli F1 tyres will not solve the problem
Haas driver Romain Grosjean has joined the ranks of Formula 1 colleagues those who do not think Pirelli's proposed tyres for the 2020 season are an improvement on this year's version. The Frenchman's team was clearly one of the most affected by the unpredictable nature and behaviour of this year's controversial tyres. 'It's too early to judge,' Grosjean said after trying the 2020 tyres at the Pirelli test at Yas Marina Circuit in the wake of the season finale Abu Dabi Grand Prix. 'But if you ask if I am satisfied with them, and whether it will help us solve the problems with overheating when we are following another car, I have to tell the truth.
