Alfa Romeo ‘expected a lot more' after double Q1 elimination
United States Grand Prix – Both Alfa Romeo drivers were disappointed after qualifying, having been knocked out in the first part of the session. Antonio Giovinazzi and Kimi Raikkonen will start Sunday's race at the Circuit of the Americas from sixteenth and seventeenth on the grid, respectively. It means that it's pretty much a continuation of Alfa's recent bad form, with the team only scoring three points in total since the summer break. Having been completely off the boil in Russia, Japan and Mexico, Raikkonen gave the team some hope for optimism by placing in P8 in final practice on Saturday morning.
