Otmar Szafnauer: “Every point is hugely important”
SportPesa Racing Point boss Otmar Szafnauer says “every point is hugely important” for the team going into Austin as they look to move into the top five in the constructors championship. Racing Point have hit a good run of form since returning from the summer break after a troublesome first half of the season which saw only a few top 10 finishes. Sergio Perez has been the star man finishing in the top eight at every race, other than a retirement in Singapore, since Belgium, helping them sit only nine points behind fifth placed Renault in the standings.
