Outside Line: How Mercedes Won the Championship
It's was a long time in the making, and now it's official: Mercedes are the 2019 constructor's champions. Their sixth title in succession, the Silver Arrows have now equalled Ferrari's record from 1999-2004 and further cemented themselves as one of the great teams in sporting history. That said, number six didn't come without a few twists and turns, even if ultimately they had enough of a margin over Ferrari – 179 points – to seal the deal with four races remaining.
