Brazil Government: Petrobras-McLaren deal unjustifiable

A document published by the Brazilian Ministry of Economy on Thursday all but confirmed that Petrobras has ended their contract with the McLaren F1 team, worth £163-million (190-million). At the time of publishing, neither the state company nor the British team confirmed the information. The contract, signed in 2018, marked the return of the state oil company to Formula 1, through a technical partnership that also provided for fuel and lubricating oils, as well as technology sharing between the two companies.
