Fred Vasseur backs Antonio Giovinazzi over Nico Hulkenberg

Nico Hulkenberg is still looking for a Formula 1 seat for 2020 due to the fact the Renault have replaced him with Esteban Ocon. Many thought that there could be an opportunity at Alfa Romeo but Fred Vasseur says that he is happy with how Antonio Giovinazzi is performing.  "We will make the decision very quickly and when I look at the results, Antonio is doing very well. The last six to seven races he is just as fast as Kimi and that's just good. He makes step by step and I am convinced that he can do much more in the future," Vasseur said.  If Alfa Romeo doesn't sign Hulkenberg then his chances are rapidly diminishing.
