F1 denies any serious discussion with potential new teams

Formula 1 has issued a statement regarding the potential entry of new teams in 2021, saying there has been ‘no serious discussions'. In the wake of the announcement from the Campos Racing team that they have applied for entry to the 2021 Formula 1 World Championship, F1 itself has moved to quash the suggestion. On Thursday, Campos, together with Monaco Increase Management, announced they have applied to enter into Formula 1 with a barebones team structure already in place. This would be in addition to the already existing Campos Formula 2 and Formula 3 teams.
