Bombshell double McLaren disqualification as Verstappen reigns supreme
In a bombshell post-race development, both McLaren drivers were disqualified from the Las Vegas Grand Prix. After Lando Norris finished in second and Oscar Piastri in fourth, both cars failed post-race FIA checks regarding the level of plank wear.
It has triggered a twist in the drivers' title fight, as Max Verstappen winning in Sin City has put himself and Piastri 24 points adrift with two rounds remaining.
