Bianchi seriously injured in Suzuka shunt

Scene of Jules Bianchi's accident at Suzuka French driver Jules Bianchi was taken to hospital after being seriously injured in a crash that brought a halt to a wet Japanese Formula One Grand Prix on Sunday. 'The driver is not conscious and has been sent to the hospital by the ambulance because the helicopter cannot go in these conditions,' said a spokesman for the governing International Automobile Federation (FIA). No further details were available and there was no immediate comment from Bianchi's Marussia team.
