Bianchi rushed to hospital after serious incident

Jules Bianchi has been rushed to hospital following an incident on lap 43 of the Japanese Grand Prix which resulted in the race being red-flagged and ended early. The Marussia driver reportedly struck a recovery vehicle which was attending to Adrian Sutil's Sauber at Turn 7. The Safety Car and Medical Car were then sent out before the race was stopped as the extent of the incident became clearer. The FIA have confirmed the Frenchman was unconscious when he was removed from the circuit via ambulance and police escort rather than helicopter which was a decision made by the medical team.
