Caterham hoping for new Ericsson deal

New Caterham team principal Manfredi Ravetto says the door is open for Marcus Ericsson to remain at the Leafield-based outfit next season. Following four seasons in the GP2 Series, Ericsson made his F1 debut at the start of the year in Australia. He matched Caterham's best result with 11th in Monaco and kept both Marussia drivers behind him in Singapore to finish 15th. Ericsson said it was one of his best races so far. However, his future at the team has been questioned recently after he was out-paced by Andre Lotterer when the German replaced Kamui Kobayashi in Belgium and Roberto Merhi when he competed in first practice at the Italian Grand Prix.
