Perez hit with gearbox penalty

Sergio Perez will start Sunday's Brazilian Grand Prix from 19th place on the grid after incurring a gearbox change penalty. The Mexican racer, contesting his final event with McLaren, crashed during Saturday's qualifying leaving him down in 14th place. During the team's efforts to repair his car, McLaren discovered an issue with his gearbox and therefore opted to change it. That means Perez will drop five places to P19. He is the only driver penalised for Sunday's season finale.
