Full results FP2: Red Bull the fastest, Mercedes just in the top ten

In a session that was clearly used as a preparation for the sprint race, Max Verstappen eventually drove the fastest time. The Dutchman was the only one on the F1 grid to go under 1:30 on Saturday afternoon, while other teams chose to drive longer runs with more fuel in the car. Mercedes was one of those teams, which as a result could be found in eighth and ninth positions. The Ferrari's were fast though, with Charles Leclerc in second place and Carlos Sainz on P3. Esteban Ocon, with a new chassis, also showed his speed. The Frenchman recorded the fourth time, with former teammate Sergio Perez in fifth.
