Chinese GP Under Threat from Coronavirus
The 2020 Chinese Grand Prix could find itself removed from the F1 calendar after Chinese officials announced the suspension of all motorsport events in the country until April due to the ongoing Coronavirus outbreak. The Formula 1 Grand Prix, which is scheduled to take place from April 17-19 in Shanghai, could also be in danger if the quarantine period needs to be extended. Having already caused 25 deaths with 830 infected, the Automobile and Motorcycling Federation of the People's Republic of China (CAMF) made the announcement just weeks out from the Changbai Rally, which was set to run from February 12 to 14.
