Charles Leclerc shows pace as he tops final Singapore session

Charles Leclerc moved to the front of the pack during the final practice session for Formula 1’s Singapore Grand Prix. In the final one-hour session prior to qualifying Leclerc posted a time of 1:38.192s to finish 0.207s clear of Friday pacesetter Lewis Hamilton, as Ferrari flexed its muscles in the wake of a subdued Friday. Leclerc had conceded he was still getting up to speed through Friday, with his progress stymied by a gearbox problem that brought his FP1 to a premature end, but the two-time race winner had enough pace on Saturday evening to lead the way.
