Apologetic Pierre Gasly takes blame for Hockenheim FP2 crash

Pierre Gasly apologised to Red Bull in the wake of a hefty crash that brought his running to a premature conclusion on Friday in Germany. Gasly endured a difficult start to his Red Bull career but displayed stronger pace at the most recent event in Britain, running competitively among the leaders before classifying fourth. But Gasly was off the pace during practice at Hockenheim and, having been only 15th during the qualifying simulations in FP2, crashed out of the session during his race run.
