Haas: We’re not giving up on points
Rich Energy Haas F1 Team drivers Kevin Magnussen and Romain Grosjean qualified 14th and 17th, respectively, for Sunday’s Azerbaijan Grand Prix at Baku City Circuit. However, Magnussen will start 13th and Grosjean 15th as 15th-place qualifier Pierre Gasly of Red Bull will start from pit lane due to a weighbridge infringement and eighth-place qualifier Antonio Giovinazzi of Alfa Romeo was issued a 10-position grid penalty for the fitting of a new Control Electronics part. Magnussen set the 14th-fastest time in Q1 with a lap of 1:42.382 around the 6.003-kilometer (3.730-mile), 20-turn circuit on the streets of Azerbaijan’s capital city.
