Russell unveils Montoya-inspired helmet design for China
Williams rookie George Russell has unveiled a special half-and-half Juan Pablo Montoya-inspired helmet design to use at this weekend’s Chinese Grand Prix. The upcoming event is the 1,000th World Championship event in the history of the sport and, to mark the occasion, drivers have been given a free pass regarding their helmet design. Since 2015 drivers have only been permitted one change of helmet design per season. Russell will wear a helmet featuring his own colour scheme and that of Montoya, who took seven wins in Formula 1 during the early 2000s.
